So where should I start from, maybe from direction or the script or the actors or the music? Hmm, actually I have a different observation altogether. I mean we have by now read all the possible reviews about the movie and honestly there is no need for anything more. So what am I saying.......
While I was watching the movie I did make a single observation. I adore Sharukh and Kajol. Yes they are good actors, everyone knows that and they have proved it time and again. But more importantly they are the best of friends! Their friendship is what makes them!
I respect every individual who has always prioritized their friendships. I give sincere credit to both of them for working on their friendship and keeping it safe. They are both married, they breath in the atmosphere of propaganda, in which friendships are easier to sink, they are good and committed spouses and parents. They live within the defined boundaries and are always in their character.
I mean this in itself is an achievement. It certainly takes a lot of effort to make relations work.
They epitomize what friendship should be like. Simple! Considering that they have such evident 'chemistry' they could have been cheating on their respective spouses and could have ruined all other relations they have been blessed with. But they don't. Why? 'Cause I say they are simple.
Simple is always uncomplicated. True friendship is uncomplicated. It doesn't need to be followed by an affair, it can stay as it is.
I find it very difficult to understand why all friendships need to move forward! Some of them don't! Some relations are bound to be unique. Unique by living within the boundaries and still having fantastic chemistry.
I believe that it doesn't matter who the people are, what age they are, where they are from or how they think. If you have the desired chemistry then just be simple and make that friendship work. Finding a friend with such chemistry is really a matter of serious luck. Which makes me so jealous of SK! But deep within my heart I do pray that I find such friends, I do pray that I am even more luckier that SK!
And I do pray that their friendship may last for eternity!
